The Orange County Probation Department has more than 1,600 employees, and all of the Department’s employees contribute to the efficient operation of the criminal court system in the County. Many of these employees are Peace Officers, serving in eight classifications. We also have OCEA members in a large number of non-Peace Officer classifications in the Probation Department. These include, among others, office services personnel, information processing technicians, cooks, laundry and supplies clerks, and others.
