Peace Officers Protective League
 The OCEA Peace Officer Protective League (OCEA POPL) was established by OCEA several years ago. OCEA POPL was established to provide benefits superior to any similar organization. Membership is open to all Peace Officers in bargaining units represented by OCEA. Membership in OCEA POPL automatically provides members with limited membership in the Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC) and access to the benefits of their Legal Defense Fund (LDF). OCEA POPL also provides occasional education events, such as the recent Saturday training at OCEA related to the Public Safety Officers Procedural Bill of Rights Act.
