Sheriff's Special Officers/Deputy Coroners

The Sheriff's Special Officer/Deputy Coroner Unit is one of our OCEA groups which have their own Executive Committee. The Sheriff's Special Officer/Deputy Coroner Unit Executive Committee operates under OCEA bylaws to advance the welfare and security of its unit members, and of members of OCEA generally. The Executive Committee is elected by OCEA members in the unit, and committee members serve two-year terms. In addition to being elected, Executive Committee members are OCEA Stewards who attend our Steward-training program. The Executive Committee works on departmental issues with a view toward benefiting the employees and the department.
