Passengers on board Catalina Express can expect to arrive in Catalina in about one hour, departing from Long Beach, San Pedro, or Dana Point. Catalina Express offers year round service and the convenience of up to 30 round trips daily.
It's their 30th Anniversary!!!

Catalina Flyer
Roundtrip to Catalina Island from Newport Beach aboard the Catalina Flyer. Departs from the Balboa Pavilion. See the quaint town of Avalon full of shopping and dining adventures. Once on Catalina Island, look for the Discovery Tours ticket booths featuring a variety of fun and informative tours. Avalon Scenic Tour, Glass Bottom Boat, Seal Rocks Cruise and The Flying Fish Boat trip, and The Skyline Drive are just a sampling of the tours offered.
Please note: In February 2012 Catalina Flyer will operate on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays only. Daily service will resume March 1 and will continue until Nov. 25, 2012.

Discovery Science Center
Discovery Science Center is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating young minds, assisting teachers and increasing public understanding and appreciation of science, math and technology through interactive exhibits and programs. Taco Bell Corp. has provided major funding to Discovery Science Center. Individuals, foundations, corporations, and the local, state and federal government have also made contributions.

Newport Landing Whale Watching
Year around whale watching cruises view many varieties of whales including the giant blue whale which is over 90 feet in length (during the summer and fall months), finback whales, grey whales (winter and spring months), minke whales, humpback whales, several types of dolphin, seals, and all sorts of other marine life. 96% viewing success rate on each cruise. Our primary whale watching ship is 65 feet in length with a large upstairs sundeck, wrap around outside seating, snack bar with food and beverages, indoor seating with large windows. Our whale watching ship was designed just for viewing marine life. Plenty of other amenities guartees to make for a very comfortable and exciting trip.
