Park Rangers
Orange County Park Rangers are commissioned (sworn) peace officers with Peace Officer authority as defined by California Penal Code section 830.31. The Park Rangers are concerned with the safety of visitors to the County’s parks, beaches, and harbors. They respond to emergencies at those facilities. Our Park Rangers are also vitally concerned with the preservation of our park resources.
