Orange County Water District

The Orange County Water District is a public agency that currently wholesales water to twenty cities in Orange County. It shares its “campus” with the Municipal  Water District of Orange County. OCWD operates a sophisticated operation that includes well-testing, maintenance of the groundwater basin, coordination with MWDOC to purchase additional water from MWD’s sources, water-quality programs, reclamation, and education. OCEA-represented employees at OCWD work in very interesting positions, many of which require constant training on changing water-quality standards, potential contamination issues, drought-condition resources, and the ever-growing need to reclaim and recycle water.

    MOUs

What is an MOU? It's a "memorandum of understanding"—another name for a collective bargaining agreement!
