The Office of the District Attorney is the largest law firm based in Orange County. The office represents the People of the State of California in some civil proceedings and in all criminal proceedings, and it serves the court and criminal justice system and the Orange County Grand Jury. The office employs Attorneys, Investigators, Managers, and support staff. The support staff consists of clerical personnel, who assist the Attorneys and Investigators, and also the Administrative Services staff that assists in the Financial Services, Facilities Management, Human Resources, and Information Systems. The support staff includes many OCEA members. OCEA provides a wide range of services to support employees. OCEA helps facilitate our LMC meetings and OCEA supports our annual “Bring Your Child to Work Day.” Many employees of the Office of the District Attorney participate either as OCEA Stewards or members of OCEA and help make the Department a great place to work.
