Since 1937, OCEA’s Board and staff have developed goals and bargaining proposals to achieve more for our members. The more members we have, the greater our strength is. Through our unity, we have accomplished great things, including improved working conditions, better wages and retirement security.

Make a difference
OCEA members can vote on contracts, receive representation on work-related problems, provide input during bargaining, vote in OCEA elections and become an OCEA leader. Members can join labor management committees, unit executive committees or become an OCEA steward or Board member.

OCEA offers a variety of excellent dental, vision, term life and disability plans, which are paid by payroll deduction. These benefits are administered by the OCEA Health and Welfare Trust.
