This week the County has been distributing an IT Usage Policy to employees. The policy provides that it has been reviewed with labor representatives – that statement is incorrect. OCEA’s position with regard to policies such as these remains the same:
Employees should ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIPT ONLY. It has been and continues to be OCEA’s position that by acknowledging that you have received the policy you are not agreeing to the terms and conditions contained in the policy.
