Urgent Notice:
Today the County notified us informally that the Assessor intends to impose mandatory furloughs (every other Friday closure to begin in February, 2010).
This intended action is subject to the formal meet and confer process. We have not met and conferred!
Be assured that OCEA has expressed its dismay over this intended action, and is working to bring the County to the bargaining table as soon as possible. Information will be provided to you via e-mail as it develops, and will be posted to the OCEA website.
